I opened a funeral expense account with Mr. Sagala several years ago for my Mom who was diagnosed with end stage Alzheimer's disease. Mr. Sagala told me at the time that the moneys for the account may only be used toward funeral costs and that it would be refunded if I did not use Sniffen Sagala funeral home. I contacted Mr. Sagala last November, when my mom passed. At first I thought about having the funeral at his facility, but later changed my mind, for most of my guests were arriving from NYC, and I no longer live in Spring Valley. I was told to send a letter, then later a copy of my Mom's Death certificate in order to get the moneys refunded which would be sent to the funeral home I used. Well, it has been over 4 months , and many phone call messages later and I have yet to get a response from Mr. Sagala. I guess, I will have to follow up with legal proceedings!
